School Resource Officers
School Resource Officers (SROs) are located in all high schools and junior high schools in the county.  A school resource officer performs various duties including counseling, administrative tasks, teaching, parenting, and enforcement.  SROs visit classrooms to talk about laws and ordinances, bullying, and other issues to help the students become better citizens.  SRO’s are role models to the students and are an available resource to the students.  SRO’s also investigate thefts, narcotics, vandalisms and other crimes that occur in the schools
