Over the weekend, the wanted subject, Edward Carabajal, 23, of Cheyenne, was arrested on a felony warrant related to the incident.
Case Background
On Sunday, July 21 at approximately 2:10 a.m. Cheyenne Police Officers were dispatched to a report of an aggravated assault that occurred at a residence in the 600 block of Van Lennen Avenue.
Officers arrived to find an unresponsive male victim, identified as Jamie Stephenson, 54 years old, of Cheyenne, with apparent head injuries. He was transported by ambulance to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and then life-flighted to Loveland, Colorado, where he remains hospitalized.
